The franchise has crossed many consoles genres, and forms of media, and being inspired as a source to many Japanese RPGs particularly such as Dragon Quest.

The first five Wizardry scenarios, known as "Classic Wizardry" are comprised of Wizardry 1 (Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, Wizardry 2 (Knight of Diamonds), Wizardry 3 (Legacy of Llylgamyn), Wizardry 4 (Return of Werdna), and Wizardry 5 (Eye of the Maelstrom). Game Series[]

While the original company ceased operating, it was recently reincarnated as Sirtech Entertainment Corp. and is currently remastering Wizardry 1 (Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord) through a development license with Digital Eclipse. During the time the original company ceased operating and the reboot of the second iteration of the firm, there are a number of active Japanese-made Wizardry product-lines, which are considered to be worthy "spin-offs".
