You are in Rock

A teleportation that went wrong

Teleportation in Wizardry I - V[]

Malor[]

In the early Wizardry games of the Lylgamyn Saga, characters can teleport using Malor, a Level 7 mage spell. When used in camp, coordinates of movement (not ending coordinates) are input and characters are teleported to a chosen spot. The user can accidentally teleport into solid rock--making a party of nigh-indestructible Lords and Samurai lost forever.

If the Malor spell is cast in battle, the party is teleported to a random location on the same floor. This will never result in teleporting into a trap or solid rock.

Teleport Trap[]

Teleportation might occur involuntarily by triggering a teleporter trap in a treasure chest. This results in the party being teleported to a random location on the same floor. This will never result in teleporting into a trap or solid rock.

However, there is a small chance of one being teleported into a locked room without escape, one example being a 1x1 room on the 3rd floor of the Maze in Wizardry V that was an otherwise an unreachable location that could be thought as solid rock, the only movement allowed being turning around. If this happens, a Loktofeit spell can help the party escape, otherwise a search party rescue would be required.
